Here are 5 ways to post your volunteerism (including LinkedIn!):

  1. Post About an Upcoming Session Let others know about your upcoming session and the impact you're making!

Below is a sample post. Feel free to add hashtags too! (e.g. #STEM, #careers, etc.)

"On [date], I'll be leading a virtual session all about [topic] for [audience age]! Follow @pathfulinc to learn more."

  1. Post About a Recent Session "I recently connected with students via @pathfulinc to provide career exposure and industry insights, virtually!"

  1. Add Your Volunteerism to Your Resume Here's a template you can copy, paste, and edit to meet your needs:

  • "Lead virtual sessions with students across the U.S. to provide career exposure and bring real-world relevance to classroom learning."

  • "Design presentations that are developmentally appropriate and provide insight into my industry and day-to-day responsibilities."

  1. Add Your Volunteerism to Your LinkedIn Profile Here is how to add your virtual volunteerism to your profile (feel free to use the text for another social media site too!):

Step 1. Go to your LinkedIn profile.

Step 2. Click on Add profile section to the right of your profile picture and select Volunteer Experience from the Additional dropdown menu.

Step 3. Fill out the form that pops up.

To make it easy, here's a short description you're welcome to copy and paste:
